-well, I've lost some weight XD not much but I'm happy XD
-my cat has been hit (by a car or by some people.. we don't know) but now she's recovering :)

[Gala Dress Update #3] Full immersion!

Allora, oggi io e mia mamma abbiamo fatto una full immersion sul vestito! Sono contenta che ne abbiamo avuto il tempo perché non ci stavamo lavorando da almeno un mese penso! Per prima cosa, ha preparato il corpino:

So, today my mum and I had a full immersion making the dress! I'm so glad we had time because we haven't been working on it for at least a month I think! Firstly, she prepared the bodice:

Poi, l'abbiamo attaccato alla gonna e ho fatto qualche foto! Finalmente abbiamo un pezzo unico! XD

Then, we got it attached to the skirt and I took some pics! We finally have a one piece! XD

Next step: maniche!/sleeves! :)

Les Portraits de la Reine...Marie Antoinette on screen!

Ultimamente ho guardato un po di film su Marie Antoinette e così mi sono ritrovata a chiedermi quante attrici avessero interpretato questo ruolo e anche se sono in grado di dire chi è la mia preferita. E' difficilissimo! Molte attrici bellissime e talentuose hanno avuto questo ruolo e ogni singola volta la Regina sembra diversa! Può essere naive, triste, felice, fredda come il ghiaccio e così via... La Regina compare anche in versione anime e manga. Ho sempre amato la Marie Antoinette di Versailles No Bara (Lady Oscar)! Giovane e stupenda all'inizio, cresciamo con lei e Oscar fino all'amara e triste fine (per entrambe.. sigh!)
Comunque, questo è un piccolo collage di regine:

I've been watching some movies about Marie Antoinette lately, so I came up wondering how many actresses played this role and also if I can say who's my favourite one. This is hard! Many beautiful and talented actresses played this role and every single time the Queen seems different! She can be naive, sad, happy, cold as ice and so on... The Queen appears also in anime and manga version. I've always loved Marie Antoinette in Versailles No Bara (Lady Oscar)! Young and gorgeous at the beginning, we grow up with her and Oscar until the sad and bitter end (for both of them..sigh!)

I got tons of make up products, accessories and nail polishes but, this is basically what's in my make up bag, those things I use more often/everyday:

Liquidflora foundation + Real Techniques Brush, Sleek Bad Girl palette, Elf blush, primers, Benefit Erase Paste concelear, 3 mascaras, eyebrows products, eyelash curler, nail file, brushes, pencils (black, brown, white) and Lily Lolo English Rose lipgloss

I wake up at 8.30-9 am

I have breakfast and then...

it's time to get dressed! (unfortunately NOT like Marie Antoinette XD)

In the morning (or in the afternoon) I do some errands, such as going to the supermarket...

1-2 pm I have lunch

In the afternoon I spend time at the computer or studying or in this period doing my Gala dress

8-8.30 pm My family and I have dinner

After dinner I can watch tv or watch one of my tv series online

Before sleeping I usually read a book and around 0.30 - 1 am I fall asleep

I guess my life will change a bit when I'll get a job!

I'll add Day 8 and 9, well I do that basically because I don't have songs that inspire me for lolita. I mean, I can't think of any XD So, Day 8 will remain empty XD

Day 9 – 10 things you will never do in lolita.

1. Doing some form of sport/ exercising/ playing etc etc
2. Attending a concert (the only exceptions are jrock/visual concerts, if I'm in the mood)
3. Going to university/ attending a class
4. Gardening XD
5. Cooking
6. Attending a Carnival parade XD
7. Going to work (if I had one! XD maybe I would wear something very toned down and casual but never fully "lolitized")
8. Going to a farm XD
9. Going to the airport
10. Going to the disco (this is completely out of question even in "normal" clothes because I hate those kind of places!!!)
