Finalmente sono riuscita a trovare la stoffa per il mio abito del Gala! Quest'anno sarò vestita in una sorta di verde smeraldo. Trovare questo colore è stata un'impresa... Il verde è un colore così bello ma è piuttosto difficile da trovare, non so perché! Avrei potuto comprare la stoffa online, ma non ero sicura perché i colori tendono ad essere falsati quando si vedono attraverso lo schermo. Comunque, oggi io e mia mamma abbiamo cominciato il progetto :) qui potete vedere le stoffe sul manichino XD con la sottogonna (arrivata oggi!) e un ramo d'edera (in sostanza il mio tema per il vestito: edera e fiori, foreste e boschi)
Finally I was able to find some fabric for my Gala dress! This year I'm going to be dressed in a kind of emerald green. Finding this colour was a challenge... Green is such a great colour but it's quite hard to find, I don't know why! I could have bought the fabric online but, I wasn't sure because colours tend to be distorted when you see them through a screen. Anyway, today my mum and I started our project :) here you can see fabrics on the mannequin XD with petticoat (arrived today!) and a branch of ivy (basically my theme for the dress: ivy and flowers, forests and woods)
