Nina's Paris - Original Marie Antoinette's Tea

Una nuova entry dopo tantiiiiiissimo tempo!
Settimana scorsa sono stata a Parigi per un nuovo concerto dei Versailles Philharmonic Quintet, l'ultima data del loro "welcome back" tour Renaissance. Mentre ero lì, sono riuscita a visitare alcuni posti che erano nella mia wishlist da tempo. Uno di questi posti era il carinissimo e tappa obbligata Nina's Paris vicino Place Vendôme.

A new entry after a very looooong time!
Last week I was in Paris for a new Versailles Philharmonic Quintet gig, the final date of their "welcome back" tour Renaissance. While I was there, I was also able to visit some places that have been in my wishlist since a lot of time. One of these places was the super cute and must-see Nina's Paris near Place Vendôme.

Nina's Paris è una stupenda boutique e piccola sala da te che vende l'Original Marie Antoinette's Tea, la storia del negozio risale al 1672 ed è l'unico al mondo che può creare e vendere prodotti esclusivi usando i frutti e i fiori del Potager du Roi (il Giardino della Cucina del Re) di Versailles. Nina's Paris is a beautiful boutique and little tea room that sells the Original Marie Antoinette's Tea, the history of the shop dates back to 1672 and is the only one in the world that can develop and sell exclusive products using fruits and flowers from the Potager du Roi (King's Kitchen Garden) of Versailles. Da amante di Marie Antoinette e da bevitrice di te, non potevo uscire a mani vuote e mi è davvero piaciuto lo stile e la cura per i dettagli del negozio. Inoltre, la venditrice è stata davvero molto carina e abbiamo chiacchierato di te e ovviamente della Reine. Il te di Marie Antoinette è una miscela di te nero, petali di rosa, mele e profumo di rosa, l'ho adorato da subito! C'erano anche due miscele stagionali "speciali": la miscela Je T'Aime (che ho ricevuto come regalo) per San Valentino e la Fête de Versailles, una miscela invernale. Tutti i te hanno bellissime confezioni, ma le più famose sono il barattolo rosa per il te di Marie Antoinette e il barattolo di metallo, replica del barattolo originale in argento di Marie Antoinette con incise le sue iniziali.

 As a Marie Antoinette lover and tea drinker, I couldn't get out empty-handed and I really appreciated the style and the attention to detail of the shop. Also, the seller was very nice and we chatted about teas and of course about la Reine. Marie Antoinette's tea is a blend of black tea, rose petals, apples and rose flavour, I loved it from the beginning! There were also two "special" blends of the season: the Je T'Aime blend (that I received as a gift) for St. Valentine's Day and the Fête de Versailles, a winter blend. All teas come in beautiful packagings but the most famous are the pink tin for Marie Antoinette's tea and the metal tin, replica of the original Marie Antoinette's silver tin with her initials on it.

Una volta tornata a casa non vedevo l'ora, DOVEVO bere il mio te e finalmente oggi sono riuscita a provare questa miscela profumata di mela e rosa...cosa posso dire? Stupenda!

Once I got home I couldn't wait, I HAD to drink my tea, and finally today I was able to try this apple and rose scented blend... what can I say? Marvellous!
